The Beauty and the Beast

The tale of the beauty and the beast reinterprated through the inuit culture.
During a trip to Montréal, I got the chance to learn a bit about this culture and one of the aspects that impacted me the most was all the pictures of dancing animals, masks, and the myths of reincarnation.
As a series of concept art and colorboard, I wanted to experiment with color opposition where the warm tones represent humanity and the cold tones represent the domain of the beast.
