Fortune Rouge [comic pages]

As a school project, I had the opportunity to work on a comic book, along with 5 other artists, part of my class.

Our story is the one of an american indian named Kalena and takes place in the south of the US, in the 1860s. Along with Butch and Shelly, he is an outlaw and commits many crimes, hence they're wanted in the region. The day of his last crime as he's planning to retire with Shelly, they both are betrayed by Butch who runs away with the money and jewellery they stole at a bank. When escaping with Shelly from the town, the young woman gets injured. After taking whelter in a canyon, Shelly soon gives out her last breath. Desperate, Kalena calls for the spirits of his tribe and Istaga, a fallen spirit, appears before him and offers a pact : he would reunite them if Kalena avenges the injust, stolen lives. Thus, from here, Kalena goes on a quest of vengeance and justice...
